This is a WebQuest with a rubric included that I created for 12th grade students to explore the transition from written text to film. In order to illustrate this shift, I directed students to various websites about William Shakespeare’s Hamlet and asked them questions about the websites they visited. At the end of the WebQuest, the students are given the task of designing their own interpretation of Hamlet, drawing ideas from the questions they answered from the various websites.
